Working Together with Wigwam Storage

April 2, 2026

For the past three years we have been incredibly grateful to have a partnership with Wigwam Storage who very kindly support us by donating a free storage unit for us to use.

The family-owned self-storage provider based in Oxfordshire has various locations all over the UK, which provide affordable and secure storage spaces for both personal use and for businesses.

With a superb location in Bromsgrove, it makes it easy and accessible for us to use the space with unlimited access from 6am in the morning all the way to 10pm at night. It is exceptionally helpful that we have the support from this organisation all year round, particularly during busier periods including Christmas and the Harvest Festival when we are very fortunate to receive many donations from schools for our food bank but do not have the facilities to hold it all.

Managing Director of Wigwam Storage, Simon Fothergill said: “We chose to support The Basement Project because no young person should have to face homelessness or crisis alone. As a local business, it’s important to us to back organisations that are on the ground, providing practical help and a friendly face when it’s needed most.”

This local support from Wigwam Storage is incredibly beneficial for us at The Basement Project because we can deliver our services to young people in a calm and inclusive environment away from the hustle and bustle that comes with sorting food parcels. With this opportunity of extra space, we can continue to help the community with emergency food parcels, guidance on navigating the housing system, mediation and much more.

Thank you so much, Wigwam Storage, their generosity helps us ensure the young people in Worcestershire continue to be supported and empowered.
