We’d like to thank a number of funders, who between them, have awarded us over £15,000. This money will help fund 516 hours of support for young people, so thank you to all involved in awarding these grants to us.
Firstly, The Patrick Trust, founded in memory of Joseph and Ruth Patrick’s son Andrew, funded £2,500. Initially set up in 1962 to raise funds for research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the Trust has been able to diversify it’s grants to a wider range of charities.
We then heard about another successful application to The Albert Hunt Trust, who awarded us £8,000. Albert Hunt was a successful business man who died in 1957. He left his business jointly to his late first wife’s nieces who established the Trust in Albert Hunt’s name in 1979 to support local registered charities throughout the UK.
Finally, the The Schroder Charity trust awarded us £5,000. One of the Trust’s main objectives is supporting the work of charities that enhance the wellbeing and life outcomes of vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
Thank you so much to these funders for supporting our work. It costs around £500,000 per year to deliver our services, so these funders really help us to support our young people, meaning we can continue our services into the future.
